Board-certified in 2017 and a certified FMCSA medical examiner since 2018, she launched her private practice in 2022. With a diverse background in hospitals, clinics, and health centers, Sherocko is adept at managing both acute and chronic ailments, offering comprehensive care across specialties.
Sherocko is committed to holistic, patient-centered care, emphasizing physical, mental, and emotional health. A DOT physical exam (also called a CDL medical exam or DOT medical exam) is the physical evaluation required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to confirm that a commercial driver is medically qualified to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. The exam covers vision, hearing, blood pressure, heart health, mobility, and overall physical condition, and results in your DOT medical card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
Every commercial driver operating in interstate or intrastate commerce is required to hold a current, valid DOT medical card — and it must be renewed periodically, typically every 24 months (or more frequently if your examiner requires a shorter certification period).
